Originally from Italy, Sonia was spotted during a singing contest in her native country by producer and manager Enzo Longobardi. A collaboration was born and Sonia had the chance to work with arranger and composer Marco Petriaggi in his studio in Rome. At the end of the year 2022, she performed with her trio formation, composed of a double bass and a guitar. She sang at the evening tribute to Joe Amoruso, in Neapolitan, in front of the historical musicians of Pino Daniele and his family. She also sang in her native land, Sicily, at the beautiful Margherita Theater in Caltanisetta, alongside Gatto Panceri, the author of “Vivo pour lei”.
In addition to Italy and its presence noticed on various Swiss media (Le Grand Soir on RTS La Première or Radio Swiss Pop) and its passage in San Remo, Sonia went to conquer Cuba, participating as a “discovery” in the San Remo Music Awards and singing in the televised event at the Teatro Nacional de Cuba.
